Bad choices and Pig Bones

Learned a lot in NM from my older brother about the percentage of pig bones found in the remains from the animal sacrifices made by different people groups who lived in the area of Beth Shemesh. Since the Jews were not to use pigs for food or sacrifice, finding the bones of pigs in the remains of their sacrfices revealed a compromise in their beliefs. In one of the digs, 45% of bones were from pigs. During the reign of Hezekiah, considered one of the greatest if not the greatest of the Jewish kings, 7% of the bones were from pigs. More to come...
